Hooray for GIVE Day!

We did it!  We packed 33,000 meals on GIVE Day and had a blast doing it!  Our student community was all in and focused on our goal, along side our staff and admin teams. Thank you to our donors, parents and supporters that helped make it all happen.  Here are some of the things we are most proud of:
  • 98 student Ambassadors helped plan and fundraise for the event.
  • Ambassadors researched our partner organization Rise Against Hunger and the beneficiary country, Madagascar
  • Ambassadors worked at a PTA Spaghetti Friendraiser dinner, ran a Raffle and dining night at Clare & Don's, created and ran in-school Nationals Photo Booth, bake sale, and “Coin Wars” event, organized & ran an Election Day bake sale, raked leaves, and wrote letters and emails to businesses, families, friends & neighbors to raise funds. 
  • Over 62 donors supported the fundraising effort; all of them are receiving hand written thank you notes from Ambassadors.
  • On Tuesday, Dec 3 ALL students and staff at Henderson MS had the opportunity to participate in the GIVE Day meal packing activity and packed 33,000 nutritious, shelf-stable meals.
